NEVER make food a big issue to your child. My Grandmother always nagged me about it, forced me to eat things I didn't want and tell me not to eat when she was the one who gave it to me. I forever heard about food-food-food and today because of that, I suffer from Anorexia and Bulimia. Food isn't something to preach about...just let the kid eat and shut up about everything else.
