The Benefits of Responsible Sunbathing

Many people are concerned about spending time in the sun these days. Over the past few decades there has been an exorbitant amount of hype through all types of media that exposure to the sun is detrimental to your health.

It is very easy to believe that what we hear repeatedly from television, magazines, radios and peers is obviously true. While there are many factors that can contribute to an unhealthy relationship with the sun (from poor diet, over-exposure, poor-hydration, and environmental pollutants) spending time in the sun can be incredibly healing, and many people around the world are missing out on this vital key to a healthy lifestyle.

As technology has improved, we have been able to see more clearly what the effects of the sun on the human body are. However, much of this information has been distorted or ignored for the simple reason that it is possible to make money selling protective products to a public scared of something they face on a daily basis.

But letís stop for a moment and think about it a bit more deeply.

The sun is the center of our solar system, giving energy and life to the Earth and all its inhabitants. For thousands of years, humans have known that the sun was a beautiful healing source, as long as we respect its magnificent power.

It depends what part of the world you are in. In Scotland we hardly have any UVB reaching us between October and April so can go out in the sun as much as we like and never burn but it's pretty cold. We need to take supplements of Vitamin D in the winter and sometimes in the summer as well. See this article http://www.vitamindcouncil.org/about-vitamin-d/how-to-get-your-vitamin-d/uvb-exposure-sunlight-and-indoor-tanning/ to see how much sun exposure you need for healthy levels of vitamin D. It depends on your skin type and the latitude you live at and the amount of cloud, so it's quite complicated but diet alone can never provide enough and it is now realised that all sorts of diseases are caused by or are more common with vitamin D deficiency, so the sun creams are likely to have caused far more disease than they have prevented.

I love the feel of sun, but I'm a redhead and I'll get burned at 4PM on a cloudy day. I need sunblock and I'm careful about the brands I put on my skin. It's usually burn-peel-freckle-repeat for me, so I get my exposure in the late afternoons while I garden until I have to turn on the porch light.

I LOVE the feel of the sun on my body. The life giving warm rays fill me with hope, joy, comfort, peace and such a sense of being a part of the oneness of things. Too much of anything, be it sunshine, water, oxygen, carrots, anything can cause you harm. A little common sense and self awareness goes a long way to making good choices about the good things in life. Enjoy it all!

I'm Female, 22, and just this Christmas had a brief encounter with a mature man. It was wonderful. We met via internet dating on this site: ----[Six ed Sin gle. C óM ]- a good way to meet like-minded people, and he actually approached me first. It just so happens I like older man and he likes woman around my age. We had an amazing day and later on he joined me at a hotel. It was like a fantasy come true. Amazing company, amazing sex too and a really warm and loving man. He will turn 36 this month, and my goodness what a connection we had that day.
