I heard about this silly diet about 2 years ago, right after I started getting involved with participating in vegan discussions in Care.2 and was discussing that with a relative. She told me about the BT diet and I checked it out. What a crock of hogwash. I am an omnivore, and I'm Type A+, so I SHOULD be eating otherwise. According to what is supposed to be best for me are mostly foods I can't stand. Now to get nutrition from food, one has to eat it.
If you Google this, you will find that one doctor "invented" this diet and has made a lot of money by publishing books. Other doctors do NOT promote it or back it at all.
Gee, imagine that! We aren't all the same. We don't have the same needs. What works for some, doesn't work for others, even if your the blood type is Type O. And we also are mixed types, so lots of variables come into play. Don't be so quick to discount something just because it doesn't hold true for you. We are all One Human species that lives on this planet, but we are as diversified as possible so if one type dies out, others will survive.So how about we live and let live, and agree to disagree, but do not allow cruelty, slavery, or destruction of our Earths eco-system since we all depend on those.
Glad I'm not "O" type! But I'm RH negative - they didn't say anything about that.

As far as this diet is concerned people get what they want, someone to come up with new ways to help them with their eating dysfunction. This is not new to me just like all other 'diets' they only work because you believe that is what works and make it work. If you had the willpower to eat to sustain your body and listen to your body you wouldn't need these diets.
As a vegetarian I am very much opposed to this type of diet. I don't see any reason why anyone needs to eat meat ... AND definitely NEVER everyday.
