The Easiest DIY Wall Hanger

This is possibly the least expensive (and simplest) DIY wall hanger that we have seen. First spotted on interior designer Annaleena Karlsson’s blog Annaleena’s HEM, this can be made from a metal hanger.

Here are two versions of this clever idea. Let us know in the comments section if you have a similar hook project to share.

Above: The DIY hook is perfect for hanging jewelry.  For other options on hanging accessories and clothing, see Annaleena’s hardware designs.

Above: A wired hanger and a few nails are the only required materials.

Above: For a high-end option, the Bless Wall Screw Hanger designed by Bastian Goecke is $68 at La Garconne. This functional and decorative hanger can be screwed directly into the wall.

No more wire hangers !!
I think it looks so silly, like a weird mistake. I just don't get it. No grace, or line, what is unique and attractive to this that I am missing. oooo I get it... this is a joke right ??

I think it is a waste of space. and a waste of money if you pay the $68.

Can't believe I just took the time to read this article. I've been using coat hangers in my classroom for years. Anyone with a modicum of creativity figured out using coat hangars on her/his own before this article.
