The Lion Whisperer & His Lion Family (3 videos)

  • 1 of 3

We’ve seen how dogs relate to humans by considering them part of their pack. What about lions?

Here are three videos showing how one amazing man, Kevin Richardson, has become so accepted by his lion family that he can do almost anything, including visiting a mother with her cubs and getting a lioness to swim with him when the lions are supposed to hate the water.

The Lion Whisperer

Zoologist and animal behaviorist Kevin Richardson has a lion reserve near Johannesburg, South Africa. Over many years he has built up such trust and affection that the lions accept him as part of their pride. Watch them roughhouse, hug, and kiss.

On page 2 watch as Kevin visits a new lion mother and her cubs.
