The Science of Appetite & Overeating (Video)

By Trace Dominguez, Discovery Channel

Food is amazing. It’s delicious and helps keep us alive. It’s the fuel that keeps our human bodies going, but it can also be dangerous and destructive to those same bodies.

Overeating is very common. When humans are hungry, they eat, but sometimes they get carried away. This video explains the science behind overeating and how we can beat it (in a nutshell, help your brain by eating balanced and healthy meals instead of foods with high fat and sugar content).

Great video. Thanks for sharing. If people ate sensibly and did not over eat, there would be far less cases of obesity.

It's a fact that if you drink an 8 oz. glass of water before eating, it will satisfy your hunger better, and not cause you to over eat.
