Fidos and Spots of the world, where have you gone? Banfield Pet Hospital has compiled the top 50 dog names of 2011, and there’s nary a Rover or Fifi among them. Banfield is the largest privately owned veterinary practice in the United States–and with a patient database compiled from over 780 hospitals across the country, they seem a reliable authority on the year’s most popular pet names. What’s the name of your dog(s)? Is your pooch’s name on the list?

Very surprised my doggies name "Jessie" Isn't up there, though no surprises Bella is number 1, already know three dogs with that name.
I have a dog named Bailey now, I used to have a dog named Sammy, My grandmother has a dog named Zoe now and used to have a dog named Lady, and two of my cats are named Pepper and Ginger (If that even counts :P)
Some cute/cool names--the dog photos are adorable!
Still trying to figure out why they are given "people" names, e.g. Lola, Jake,Daisy. I figured they ran out of real dog names.
Fun.
My dogs names are not on the list....Ellie and Pippin.
Well, I guess I should've read the whole article :-( Names collected at Vet hospital.
Wondering how they collect their data? Interesting.
Interesting.
