On behalf of British beer and cheese, many thanks, Lynn C.

Now the climate in Kent & sussex is more suitable to produce a good quality sparkling wine than champagne(which is generally overhyped & not of best quality) There are vinyards as far North as Yorkshire & the highest wine grapes are grown in Warwickshire.

If they do the same good job as with the cheeses and the ales, they'll be stellar wines!
