Thank you Chris, for Sharing this!
I have to agree that hospital food needs to be improved. The foods are bland and the meals do not taste good.
Sad but true.
Thanks.
Hospitals should be the leading the way on healthy food,no??? I always found it really odd that hospitasl food is not only very unhealthy but it just tastes awful. Most often friends and family bring food to loved ones that are patients. Another curious thing is those vending machines everywhere selling nothing but unhealthy crappy junk snacks and pops. Hospital food gets an F grade. Thanks for this read.
thanks
I'm not sure why hospital food has to be So nasty. The last time my sister was in hospital, I had to bring her fresh healthy food, organic fruits etc. from home... or go down to the hospital cafeteria where there was a great selection of decent foods and bring them up to her. Why does the cafeteria have good food and the kitchen does not??
All the hospital food, except the jello, is unappetizing in my city, been in the hospital enough times due to family members. And none of them have any flavor, yes I know they use little to no salt, but there are such things as herbs and spices, and as a hospital they can be aware of what patients are allergic to any herb or spice and not have them in the dish ((like cinnamon, which doesn't have much use in western cooking for main meals anyways) and post allergy warnings for the less common ones
sad truth, but at least changes are being made
