Use Your Intuition in a Crisis

Handling ourselves in a positive way in times of crisis can be a huge challenge. When we are in crisis, the very thing that would be most helpful–access to our intuition–is often blocked. But we can learn four simple keys that bring us back into relationship with our inner guidance so we that can react to the crisis in the most productive, centered, and useful way possible.

Find out how to hear the quiet voice of intuition even when we are in crisis, here:

No matter how stressed you might be, if you can discipline yourself to go to the sacred space inside, you can calm yourself down. These four steps will help the process along:

1. If there are other people involved in your stressful situation, tell them you need a time out, and then get up and take yourself out of the environment.

2. Go outside or find some other quiet place if you can. If not, just start walking, and while you’re walking, ask the Universe to clear your body, mind, and soul.

3. Find a place where you can sit down, relax for a moment, and close your eyes. Do some deep breathing and focus on the white light within you. Just ask the presence of God to surround and protect you while you go through this stressful time.

4. Calmly ask your inner voice for guidance. Sit still a moment and listen to what comes to you.
