Confession: I know that it’s the most important meal of the day, but I am a chronic breakfast-skipper. Part of the problem is that it’s easy to get into a rut of your standard vegan breakfast foods when you’re crunched for time: oatmeal, toast, smoothies, etc. When things start feeling monotonous, it’s hard to make time for breakfast when you’ve got a busy schedule, isn’t it?

They don’t call breakfast “the most important meal of the day” for nothin’! A healthy breakfast powers you through your morning, jump-starts your metabolism, and puts you ahead on nutrients from protein and fiber to vitamin C. In kids, skipping breakfast can actually lead to behavior problems.

Next time you're preparing your oatmeal, try to add some chopped chocolate, and (when it's almost ready) a teaspoon of marmalade (orange, apricot and mixed berries are my favourites). Might not be the healthiest version possible, but sometimes it's just what you need ;)

I used to skip breakfast altogether or sometimes get it through a drive-thru window. Now I drink breakfast shakes in the morning. To spice them up, sometimes I make them with coffee for something like a coffee latte. Other times, I mix in blueberry matcha tea powder and that, not only kicks up the flavor experience, but also the antioxidant value.

Yes, Mrs S., I think it would. Some breakfasts can take you happily through 'til evening.No point in eating calories you don't like.Anyway who can prevent your doing what you want in this matter?
