Walruses Can Whistle?! (Video)

E.T. the Walrus (so named for his wrinkled but charming appearance) was rescued after being orphaned in Alaska. Now, he has an impressive range of natural vocalizations, from “speak” and “roar” to “sputter” and even “whistle”! What a talented animal. We bet you’ve never seen anything like this.

Beautiful, sweet, and charming animal. I really loved his little whiskers. You know what occurred to me? My children used to love watching "Tremors" movies, with Michael Gross. If anyone is familiar with these, didn't the graboids kind of look and sound like E.T.? I wonder if that's where they got the idea. E.T. is adorable.
