What’s Your Nutrition Personality Type?

Are You A Health Nut?

ďHealth nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.Ē ó Redd Foxx

Iíve noticed that different people respond differently to a major part of our lives: what we put in our mouths several times a day or how we treat our bodies.

There are 5 personality types within nutrition and health. Where do you stand?

Note: You can make up your own category if you wish!

1. Donít Care:

These are the people who eat what they like, or what is convenient, or what they always have eaten. A major part of the population used to be in this category.

Now, because there is now so much attention in the media on the possible benefits of food and all the dangers of not having a healthy lifestyle, this category is shrinking.

But this group is still huge, and the largest segment is men. Men traditionally just donít pay as much attention to this aspect of their lives and rely on their spouses and eventually a doctor to take care of them. Forget about organic. Don’t bother with green. They are too busy for that.

There are many opinions about everything, as many as there are people on this planet. I am compassionate and conscious eater, but I am not fanatical.

Of course, not every one fits into one of five categories of eating listed above. I'm a true vegan who isn't obsessed or nutty about eating healthy all of time (vegan food can be junk food too) and isn't pushy about my lifestyle choice. Maybe I just never cared for labels or fitting under one.

vegans seem fanatical. I'm a "health nut" person :)

i am defiantly a health, and for the list of what makes a health nut i can promise you that you dont have to do the kale chips or go meat free to be a health nut, i cant stand kale, i have tried it so many ways, its just gross, and i might be vegan and think its the healthiest way to eat, but you dont have to be meat free to be a health nut, i become a health nut before giving up meat then the rest of the animal products, and i did not give up animal products for any healthy reason or diet trend, i did it for the animals.

I agree with suzanne m. I AM A COMPASSIONATE EATER. the suffering of the animals is inhuman! any so-called compassionate human being should take a hard look at themselves and onfront what is happening 24/7 in these factoy farms
