Actually, and surprisingly, the colours here in Britain have been (and still are) stunning this year! A real pleasure.
When I lived on the East Coast I'd travel to Vermont but I must say that NY State and parts of NJ are beautiful also.

Along the Great river road-which runs along the Mississippi river in Wisconsin-the bluffs along the river are absolutely gorgeous!
