The author of this fascinating book identifies twelve archetypes that she calls the Twelve Energies. Each is a tool that will help you access your inner wisdom. Because each of these energies is an ideal state, they give us insights beyond the capability of our conscious minds. The Twelve Energies become our guides, teachers, and healers.
Read the brief descriptions of each of the Twelve Energies to see which one you may need right now:
The Observer
I am able to stand back and witness my life. In this state of consciousness I am my higher self, connected closely with all that is Divine.
The Soloist
I am born alone and I will die alone. My consciousness is my own, and no other individual has ever been able to experience my perception.
The Producer
I am the worker, the creator. I take care of my life. I do the tasks that need to be done. I have the energy necessary for carrying out the tasks of my daily life.
The Voter
I am loyal to others and myself. I make choices each day about who to befriend and who to stand back from. As I make choices, I cast my vote. I am decisive and able to choose.
The Warrior
I am the survivor. I am the fighter. I rise to the occasion and take on the challenges of my existence.
The Nurturer
I am a friend to myself. I am a friend to others. I take care of my loved ones and myself. I take care of my world. I am the steward.
The Seeker
I am the spiritual seeker, the adventurer. I allow myself to flow into the mystery of all life and all eternity.
The Communicator
I talk to others. I talk to myself. I express my ideas, my feelings, and my creativity.
The Lover
I am in love with life’s every moment. Each instant I choose love. I love myself, I love my neighbor. I love the trees and the flowers, the animals. I love all that is, and every instant inside and outside of time.
The Peacemaker
I make peace with myself. I make peace with others. When I leave my physical body for the eternal world, I will be at peace with All.
The Devotee
I am sincere and disciplined in my devotion. I make time for my devotional practice.
The Healer
As I receive the healing energy form the Creator of All That Is, I receive and pass on the vibrations of healing energy.

Very interesting. I'm The Soloist all the way to the core. But I am also very much like The Voter and I would also like to be the Healer.
These are interesting. I think it's great to name energy this way. It makes it more "real" and fleshes out the concepts to help in understanding. Wonderful.
I think, though, that today I need whichever one is fondest of Haagen Daz Rum Raisin ice cream.
But I'm also a warrior. Can one be two things at the same time?
I've always been a soloist.
Interesting.
thank you
I enjoyed the article on Guiding Energy. These descriptions gave me lots to think about and to reflect on each of these energies and how I can make them work for me.
Oh, i´m not only ONE in this case...i´m more...at least 4 apply to me! Good article though!
I found that I am more than one of these at a time. Thank you.
