Why Are These Dogs Learning to Drive? (Video)

Can old dogs learn new tricks? The SPCA Auckland in New Zealand has taken on the challenge of teaching three rescue dogs how to drive in an attempt to showcase just how intelligent our canine friends really are. Thus far, Porter, Ginny, and Monty have driven with the guidance of human companions at their side, but next Monday, the dogs will put their new skills to the test by driving around a track on live TV (Campbell Live, Dec.10 at 7PM). Find out more at the Drivingdogs Facebook page.

What do you think? Is this a good idea for showing canine intelligence?

Hmmm, I´d prefer they´d teach them to do the dishes and the laundry, if one asks me.
