What’s better than winning free underwear for a year? Winning underwear that’s good for the planet!
It’s not very often that an apparel company is direct and honest with each step of its production process, but PACT is. Their website explains every step in creating their underwear — from the organic cotton farmers who are paid a fair price for their product to the 100 percent compostable shipping bags — and they clearly demonstrate how they are moving away from the disposable consumer trend.
PACT’s motto is “Change starts with your underwear,” and their business practices seem to reflect that. On the consumer end, buyers have the choice of a non-profit company to support, based on which pair of underwear they purchase. PACT is partnered with great non-profit partners including EarthSpark International, Oceana, 826 National and several others.
At $16 – $18 a pair, the price may be a little steep for some. But it’s better to see the cost in the form of a consumer choice than a tax forced on the environment.
Leave a comment on this post for a chance to win free underwear for a year (12 pairs). Winner will be announced January 10.

+ add your ownFree underwear would be amazing, I am currently attending college with bare minimum, and I would be truly grateful for such a wonderful gift. I have heard so much great comments, and actually need to change my underwear more often to keep up with my hygiene.
Guess I missed the draw(s):->
congrats to the winner.
Please consider me when gifting this. I have to change underwear more often than what is normally done, due to a disease I have. I would love to have these and contribute to the earth in being green.

Yes, please!
Yes, please!
I think it is cool that clothing is also being involved in the green movement.
one pair per month? they'll be green alright! :)
Seriously, though, it's great to see a company that is so conscious of every step of their process.
While the pricetag seems spendy at first blush, in reality there are plenty of designer labels that are similarly priced, yet built by underpaid textile industry (slaves) workers.
