Wisdom from Robyn O’Brien

Wisdom from Robyn O’Brien

Hope is the knowledge that change is possible, even when it seems hard to imagine. In a world that very much feels like it has been thrown into a cuisinart, there are so many opportunities to be part of the solution. You bring a unique combination of heart and talent to the world that no one else possesses! While the world tends to favor the status quo and conformity, there is so much fun to be had in the experience of living, growing and finding the courage to live a purpose driven, rewarding life.

It won’t be without challenges and growing pains, but it is those very challenges and your ability to overcome them that will give you such a tremendous confidence in your own capabilities to adapt to change and succeed!

If you embrace the journey, fulfillment will come in knowing that you are doing what you are here to do. You will learn that every stage of your life prepares you for this work – every accomplishment and every setback, a lesson to be learned, making you complete as you evolve in your role of advocating for your life’s work and message….Continue reading at InspireMeToday.com.

An Alternative to Capitalism (IS CHANGE POSSIBLE?)

Several decades ago, Margaret Thatcher claimed: "There is no alternative". She was referring to capitalism. Today, this negative attitude still persists.

I would like to offer an alternative to capitalism for the American people to consider. Please click on the following link. It will take you to an essay titled: "Home of the Brave?" which was published by the Athenaeum Library of Philosophy:

What remarkable, original "wisdom".

"If you embrace the journey, fulfillment will come in knowing that you are doing what you are here to do"

Sounds like you think we've all got a specific job given to us by a god, but looking at nature, I would say the idea of divinely-inspired jobs is a meaningless idea to most life. It's a purely human invention, taking ideas (the idea of a career) from our society and placing cosmic important on said idea.

"You bring a unique combination of heart and talent to the world that no one else possesses!"

Even if that's true, it's nothing I haven't been hearing since Kindergarden.

"but it is those very challenges and your ability to overcome them that will give you such a tremendous confidence in your own capabilities"

What your basically saying is "challenges make us stronger". More "wisdom" which is already inherently obvious and simplistic.

I haven't seen anything here which I haven't already heard many times before. I take it your trying to rope people into buying a book filled with more fortune-cookie wisdom? Meh indeed.
