Wisdom from Vishen Lakhiani

Wisdom from Vishen Lakhiani

As I’ve grown and matured I have noticed a recurring pattern in my life. Things move the easiest – business, family life, friendships, my goals – when I am in a state of Flow. What do I mean by “Flow”? It is a feeling of happiness in the present while having a positive expectancy for the future.

But let me break it down further. The state of Flow has been described in different ways by different people. Tony Robbins calls it “State”. Jose Silva calls it “Expectancy”. Donald Trump refers to it as “Positive Stamina”. I believe they are all referring to the same thing.

Flow is composed of two ingredients.

The first is being happy in the now. This means being happy and joyful in your present state. It’s about enjoying the journey and not the destination.

The next ingredient is vision. It’s about having a powerful, beautiful dream for who you want to be and what you want to accomplish and contribute to the world in the future.

All of us can therefore exist in 4 states of mind based on these two ingredients.

Without happiness in the present and a future vision, you’re what I call in a “Negative Spiral”. Things feel bad now and will continue to look bad in the future….Continue reading at InspireMeToday.com.

I have no idea why people keep pushing spirituality by using examples of capitalists, money does not equal spirit.

Donald Trump didn't get rich with positive energy, his DAD was rich and got him started buying fixer upper real estate. He used other peoples' money and speculation, God had nothing to do with it. There's nothing spiritual about the Donald. He's just another rich arrogant prick. A "positive frame of mind" will never make you any money. The only way to riches is:
Inherit it.
Real estate.
Play the stock market.
Steal it.
Drug dealing.
Gun running.

I agree with you buy would NEVER quote Donald Trump. The man is pure negative energy and kryptonite to me.

The problem with having any fixed vision for the future however, is that it takes us out of the present. The Universe has a way of making our future quite different to how we imagined it, because the Universe as a whole is more intelligent than just our individual self. We can still visualise a general direction, but need to be open to change. Also, all of this law of attraction talk is a bit overrated in my opinion. It's very ego-centred and based on desire. Still, the message in the article of being happy in the now is a helpful message.

YAY!!!

I thought I was content but you're letting me know "I'm in the flow." ok

Actually, I feel ecstatic now that I've been led to Jewish Kabbalah. All my life, I've been a seeker since I was 3 years old and begged Mom to read that big black book to me...Bible.
I've studied most religions and have gathered intoxicating fruit from nearly every tree.
I've been a professional "new age" teacher, astrologer, etc. Yet, "No. It's not here. Bye."

I'm almost 70 and there are few spiritual things left that seem new to me, until a couple of months ago, when I was spiritually led to investigate Jewish Kabbalah. It seems to be fitting everything in to place. My strange ideas aren't strange any more,. It's Kabbalah! There's a new language to learn. The planes I already know about are here detailed. It's like falling in love again!!!

I'm enjoying where I'm at right now, aware, that the Honeymoon will be over and that's ok. I look forward to the future when I know I'm going home...third realm up. Meanwhile, I can learn and share and grow and Whoopie!!!

Perhaps the law of attraction is in play here.when we are in a positive frame of mind we attractive positive things.the more we complain and whine the more we suffer.if we grateful we are given even more by God.keeping a vision is important because we have to know where we want to get.we need to keep focused.on a goal inorder to attract what we need to reach it.
