WTF are Coal Rollers?

WTF are Coal Rollers?

I learned about coal rollers the hard way.

By seeing it.

Thankfully, I didn’t have an in person experience with coal rollers in action.

Nonetheless, I am experiencing PTSD because of it seeing coal rollers do their thing on the internet. Thanks, Green Diva Meg, for bringing it to my attention. Yeah. Thanks a lot. Life was better when I didn’t know about coal rollers and their coal rollin’ activities.

WTF are coal rollers and coal rollin’? It’s not a term for people who roll a new kind of extra noxious coal laced cigarette. Coal rollin’ isn’t something dogs do when they come across a pile of coal. Nope.

As quickly as I’d like to un-learn the facts about coal rollers and the way they roll, I couldn’t avoid bringing the topic up in the latest Green Divas myEARTH360 Report. You can listen to it here…

Apparently, coal rollers want to stick it to environmentalists. They may spend thousands to modify their trucks with chimney stacks that spew black plumes of diesel exhaust. Yes, they’re polluting on purpose. The blacker the exhaust the better.

An anonymous Wisconsin smoke stack seller told Slate’s David Weigel: “I run into a lot of people that really don’t like Obama at all. If he’s into the environment, if he’s into this or that, we’re not. I hear a lot of that. To get a single stack on my truck—that’s my way of giving them the finger. You want clean air and a tiny carbon footprint? Well, screw you.”

I bet these coal rollers, and the companies who make & sell them, can be taken to court if they blast this poisonous smoke into a car carrying someone asthmatic.
Concentrated exhaust smoke like that can be very lethal, even fatal, particularly to those with respiratory problems. I wonder how bad-ass these coal-rollers would feel unwittingly turning someone's car into a gas chamber!

Most boost the amount of diesel fuel is to get mote power from their vehicle be it a truck or a car. Offset this by planting trees or other plants, Semis have been doing this for decades
