Let your fingers do your walking online. Consider if you really need a paper phone book. If not, call to stop phone book delivery and use an online directory instead. Some estimate that telephone books make up almost ten percent of waste at dump sites. And if you still receive the book, don’t forget to recycle your old volumes. Put phone books on your no-call list.

Thanks for this Ronnie C. I will probably be opting out, even though I put the old books to good use or recycle, as the print is getting extremely small. I have to use a magnifying glass and 'my eyes are good'. I guess I shouldn't complain as I know the phone co. is trying to cut down on
the paper they use.
Great thinking!
I have not maintained having a phone book for over 10 years as they are big and bulky and most heavily burdening!
thanks
