Yellowstone’s Great Gray Owls

There comes a time when we all must make a leap into adulthood, and for great gray owl chicks in Yellowstone National Park, the expression is taken quite literally! Practice-makes-perfect for the little owl chicks as they hesitantly practice flying from their nests only to scramble back up the tree to try again. Photo Credit: Seabamirum via Flickr.

Owls really are beautiful animals. I have a bit of a phobia of birds, but I still think both owls and bats are fantastic.

Thanks. Yellowstone is a beautiful special place...but it looked more like the Grand Tetons to me....also very special.
