Your Hidden Name Game

By Cait Johnson, Assistant Producer, Care2 Healthy Living Channels.

Did you know that there may be secrets hidden in the letters of your name? When I tried this fascinating game, I found out that, hidden in the letters of my full name, is “Jolly Nan, Shamanic Poet” (I write poetry, and was trained in shamanic practice. Go figure!)

What secrets are hiding in your name? Find out how to discover them, and prepare to be surprised, here:

You can use the tiles of a Scrabble game or magnetic letters from the fridge, if you have one, or simply write each letter of your name on a small piece of paper. You can use the form of your name that usually use, or a nickname, or your full given name–whichever yields the best results!

Now play with rearranging the letters, writing down any combinations that feel on target. You need to use each letter once. Persist until you find the phrase or new name that feels deeply right for you.

You could even have a Hidden Name Game party and help each other discover the secrets lurking in each other’s names: it’s a fun activity for friends and family.

I love names and name games. I will give it a try.

That's called an anagram. Instead of rearranging letters manually, you can also use this site: http://wordsmith.org/anagram/advanced.html
Most of the results it provides make no sense though... but it could at least give some suggestions & is pretty fun. ;)

Did you ever think that maybe she used her middle name as well?
