Your Soul Knows the Plan

Your Soul Knows the Plan

The more deeply you are connected to your soulís plan, the more powerful it becomes in your life. Ultimately nothing can stop it.

When writing about the spiritual path, I reach a point where I wish I could dispense with terminology like soul, God, and spirit. Because there is only one reality, we donít need a separate, mundane vocabulary for everyday existence, and another, special vocabulary for higher existence. Either everything is spiritual or nothing is. In Godís eyes, walking on water is no more miraculous than the ability of hemoglobin to bond with oxygen inside a red blood corpuscle. Neither is readily visible, and both belong to the infinitely unfolding scheme of creation.

Yet it would seem that a life full of purpose and meaning must be closer to God than a life spent in aimless confusion. Dualism has a powerful hold on the mind, so we canít help but think in terms of high and low, better and worse. Whatís hard to comprehend is that God, wanting nothing, also demands nothing of us. In spiritual terms, no life is more or less worthy. Todayís thief will be reborn as tomorrowís saint, and vice versa.

In a divine plan everyone has a part. And because God is within you, you yourself have an absolute right to choose your part in the divine plan. How does that plan work in practical terms? A central feature is the issue of perception.

When you were a baby, you perceived yourself in a very limited way. What you couldnít handle or understand was given over to your father and mother. They fed you until you could feed yourself, provided shelter until you could provide it for yourself, and so on. As you became more capable, your sense of where you stood in existence is that everyone is born with a desire to see more. Thatís why the sages of India believed that even to think about God is a sign that surely he will one day appear. It turns out that expansion of consciousness is the divine plan. There is no other. As your awareness keeps growing, you become more and more certain that you are part of the divine plan as well. Nothing more is demanded of you, or ever was.

Thank you. Our higher selves (soul level) know the plan (our pre-birth agreement) and meditation helps us to connect to it. For those who make no conscious effort to connect to soul level, the universe gives out hints in the form of synchronicity.

Let's say God, Allah, Buddha, Krishna, and any other deity that we have 'adored' throughout history, is a sign that we are somehow intuitively aware of the ALL that is - so much so that we all find a way to believe one way or the other.......we are ALL part of (it). It truly is a matter of perception.....we are conditioned to think within our culturally, socially and individually determined 'box'.....so let's get out of our boxes and realize...it is all GOD, and it is ALL that is! Namaste!

Goodmorning Deepak and all, I just had to come back here... I don't seem to receive Care2 mails...so I went a hunting for my daily dose of Deepak! It's a good way to start the day!
The discussion that ensued here seems to be an theological discussion shall we say...amongst Christians....nothing wrong with that....of course, it is a discussion of those of you that adhere to a certain 'faith', religion if you will, and within that 'one' religion there is a lot of disagreement about the what is and isn't true. Fact is that on this merry go round that we call home....there are many different 'faiths' and 'religions' - from where I stand they all - without exception are a clear sign that the sages that Deepak mentions were probably spot on! "That’s why the sages of India believed that even to think about God is a sign that surely he will one day appear. It turns out that expansion of consciousness is the divine plan. There is no other. "To even think about God is a sign that one day surely he will appear". We all do - eventually - think of God - and I mean ALL - not just Christians or followers of any other 'religion or faith' - those are just perceptions.
