]]> A litter of kittens were discovered abandoned under some pallets in an English cement factory. The red dust used in the cement dyed this little girl's fur pink! They were taken to the vet and washed, but it may have to grow out. I'm just glad they're okay

]]> At the end of March a ghost ship from Japan made it's way here a year after the March 2011 tsunami. Yesterday it was sunk by the US Coast Guard. More ghost ships and debris to come for the BC coast, to the tune of tons over the next couple of years.

]]> This kitten is part of a litter that were living at the dump in Nanaimo, BC. Canada. Trained Hawks are used to control the rat population there, where many abandoned animals wind up trying to survive. A couple of this kitten's siblings weren't so lucky.
