Almost all biofuels used today cause more greenhouse gas emissions than conventional fuels if the full emissions costs of producing these "green" fuels are taken into account. We need truly better fuels...solar, wind, hydrogen, etc to save our planet.

Waste vegetable oil is typically picked up by chemical companies that ship it to China for processing. There, it's turned into pet food or cosmetic bases and is shipped back to the US. If that's true, using vegetable oil as fuel decreases CO2 emissions.

Good news for us! The ruling also rejected usurpation of Federal authority charges from auto makers to allow the standards to be implemented in Vermont. Only California & Vermont were sued by the auto industry. 13 states in all have copied California.
