A six-year-old leopard drowned in an open 15-ft pond at Hosaholalu village in Heggadadevana Kote taluk near here on Sunday.

This is deplorable! The staff was obviously inexperienced and obviously not very concerned for "Leppy" which makes me both sad and mad. This wouldn't have happened here in America where we are better armed with knowledge and manuevers. Steve wouldn't have let him drown! Angrily noted, thnx Cher.

Ignorance kills more animals and poeple. Why are they on the forest staff if they are not trained to save animals properly? what is they do? obviously not save animals.

This makes me sick. That poor, beautiful creature. I could not have slept knowing an animal was drowning. What do they pay these people for?
