This evil scumbag should be locked up longer than one year for what he did to this dog. He is a threat to society. I am so glad Azure will recover. Thanks Cher.

I can't believe he only got a year of jail time! I don't think that's enough...he should be in jail for much longer. Poor pup, I hope she finds a loving home when she fully recovers.

This make me sick, He comited an act of murder and should be punishes so. This beautiful, loving, caring & forgiving Pit Bull goes to show that this breed of dog is so misunderstude. On living creature be torcher. Bless her heart,a speedy recover and act of honer of conduct for not attacking, which any create would react to defending thier life. What a remarable dog.Thank you for the post. Peace & Love Claudia Williams

I know alot of people do not think this is enough jail time, but one step at a time. Years ago he would have walked away without any penalty. I think it is great that he gets one year. I wish other abusers would get at least that! I am so glad we are starting to convict animal abusers and putting them in jail. We are doing society a favor. "Thanks" to the prosecutor!!!
