Again and again it's been shown and proven that seldom is animal abuse a "stand alone" crime which is just one of the reasons that our judicial system needs to take animal abuse crimes more seriously and mete out harsher punishments.

THANK-YOU CHER In my opinion this person needs mental health. But he'll go to court get SLAP ON WRIST let out do it again. Our leaders need to increase laws so it hurts abusers to abuse someone/animal.We have no leaders pushing this do we?Even if police and animal control do thir jobs correctly the courts just let them off.

Lock him up and never let him see the light of day. Stiffer penalties for animal abuse must be put in place and this should be on one of Obama's highest list of priorities!, thanks Cher

Indeed, we need harsher punishment for animal abusers. The judicial system should do away with misdemeanor charges and upgrade it to a felony. How many more animals are going to be hurt before they realize this?

They always start with animals and then the cowards beat their wives! I hope he goes to jail and they take "care" of him inside.
