As if $82 million in lobbying so far this year isn't enough, the oil industry decided to fake public concern and challenge the upcoming climate bill further than they already are through really dishonest means recently. Greenpeace received a leaked memo

We can do something about this. Stop using so much oil and gas, get alternative energy vehicles as soon as possible, reduce trips, ride bikes, get fuel efficient cars, work from home, walk, get involved in the process. The sooner we run oil companies out of town, the sooner we heal the planet.

Also, grow your own food (start with a tomato plant), buy from local farmers, buy so trucking is lessened to get the product to you.
