Alma, a 2 year old Golden eagle, has been poisoned. Alma had been fitted with a GPS radio transmitter in 2007 in the Cairngorms by Roy Dennis in an attempt to find out more about the ecology of this magnificent bird. However in July her signal stopped

Most Scots who are a compassionate people will be appalled by this devasting news! Lets hope they catch the perpetrator before more wildlife suffers! May the soul of this eagle rest in eternal peace in the name of the father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen!

I thought that posioning was banned... I hope that they will track the culprits down
