When will people get the message that dogs cats or any critter for that matter being bred for wierd and wacky fashion impedes and interferes with the natural selection of nature. Humans who interfere with the original wolf line have racked up an incredibally long list of inbred ailment not mention the mutilations inflicted afterbirth like tail dock and ear chopping in some breeds just because the standard says so! Animal welfare seems to elude breeders in the pursuit of show kudos and cash! And people still keep telling me there are responsible breeders. Tell that to the Marines or your local shelter and they will probably start using military language which is not in the book! When you want a pet be it dog cat rabbit or whatever support your local animal charity which is likely bursting with healthy mutts and moggies as well as a few pedigrees. Don.t condemn a shelter animal to death by buying from a breeder or pet shop!
