I once posted a story about a golfer who aimed a rifle at a baled eagle that happened to be sitting in a nearby tree and killed it. It's horrific the things humans do to the sweet innocents who can not defend themselves. Thnx Cher, sadly noted.

My understanding is that it is a federal offence to kill a bald eagle. If not is should be.
