25 Vultures (Gyps himalayensis) that were feeding on a cattle carcass on a railway track were killed by a train some 45 kilometres from Guwahati city in Assam.

something doesn't sound right with this story....i think the cattle carcass was poisoned and the birds fed on it and got poisoned to... thats why they didn't fly when the train came....such beautiful birds...its sad... thanks cher
