The ASPCA recently shared the story of a woman who had been the victim of an internet puppy scam. She answered a classified ad, sent the requested cash, and never heard from the guy about her money or the puppy again. People are duped by scams like this

First let me say what adorable puppies!! Now how gullable can people be to believe that someone will actually mail them puppies?? I'm sorry but this poor woman may not've been very well educated or desperate to get her hands on some puppies...perhaps she was lonely. Bless her heart. Thnx Cher.

They are adorable. Some people just don't get the Internet.

This woman must have been thinking with her heart, and not her brain. Internet scams are everywhere; obviously, she did not know how to "use" the Internet. If she is going to do something like this, she will be scammed, again, off the Internet. If these adorable pups DO exist, we can hope that the ASPCA or another animal rights organization takes in the pups to have people with good homes adopt them. Blessings Sweet Pups!

I would like to say another great way to get a pet is to adopt one from a near shelter. This is kindly request to rescue an animal, they need your care and love...

Shipping a puppy can, and is, certainly done by reputable breeders. I know someone personally who picked up her Pom at the airport.

I understand she wants company and wants to take in some pets, which is good. She'd be saving them from the streets. But if she wanted a dog or a pup in the first place, she should have checked the shelter. Lots of dogs would want to come home with her.
