this is very important ,my nephen is autic ~I also believe each state should have a learning center for them ,we have one here in MS~here they are taught how to deal with ppl in general and the center helps them get jobs and helps them learn its ok to go out and work ,they are even taught how if they want to live on thier own ,not alot of states have a place like this ,thx

My autistic son is now 33 & continues to live at home with us. We are lucky, 4 out of 5 of the children that were in his autistic class in school became institutionalized at some point. The parents of 3 got divorced.. autism is hard on families. Any improvement of services & support is helpful! Illinois is trying to Cut funding for Home Services & it's a Very Stressful time..

If there are funds for cruel and expensive experiments, conflicts, there must be much more for health improvement, specially when children are in question.

Autism effects more kids than we think. We need federal funding and donations to help get these kids the diagnosis and treatment.i think we should have a program for them to go through,if not then when they turn 18 and try to go on there own,the money is gone and they don't know how to be on their own--too many gaps.these people amd their families need funding, social networking, and training as they grow.

"At the end of our life,
we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received,
how much money we have made,
how many great things we have done.

We will be judged by "I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat,
I was naked and you clothed me.
I was homeless, and you took me in
I was unoved, and you love me."

~~Mother Teresa~~

I sign again with my Heart..every Childīld is a Gift,a Gift of Love...Elke
