This is good news since I knew they were in trouble in Asia. I see them here in Arizona but have not heard anything about them decreasing here. I actually got to see them playing 1 time in some water, like kids, very interesting.

Very sad when 36 fledglings constitute a record breeding season for these birds, but it is good that the trend has been towards increased numbers.
