It's hard to imagine anything people in Canada cherish more than our clean, healthy lakes. So it's inconceivable that our government is allowing freshwater lakes to be senselessly poisoned and the life within them destroyed.

Lord, we need heros.

Has our nation back slidden so much that you have taken away the heros?

For, behold, the LORD, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread and the whole stay of water.

The mighty man and the man of war, the judge and the prophet and the prudent and the ancient.

The captain of fifty and the honourable man and the counsellor and the cunning artificer and the eloquent orator.

And I will give children to be their princes and babes shall rule over them.

And the people shall be oppressed, Isaiah 3:1-5

Wake up, America.

We are like ancient Israel just before Jerusalem was invaded.

Wake up, turn to Creator and repent!

There is only a little time left.

Especially important to me (I can see the United States from my porch), but rather hopeless in my case considering that Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, and other horrors are all upstream.

At least the most beautiful lake in the world is already safely ensconced in a National Park --> Waterton Lake, Alberta.

Signed it and sent a letter as well. The ANISHANABE GRANDMOTHERS have the right idea with their WATER WALK. I know they are wonderful for doing it, I sent them a check again this year to help them out. They are on this web-site so go check them out and try and help them out too.

Apparently Lake Ontario is now called heavy water,,,is that because of everything dumped there?
We have many pristine lakes...Waterton, Lake Louise, Lake Minewanka, to name a few in Alberta. And I hope they continue to preserve them (all in National Parks)
