Noted. If they are thriving, leave them alone. Humans should not disturb them in any way. What a beautiful cat. Thank you, Cher.

Thank you for this article Dear Cher! These Lynx are so special and were so PRIZED FOR THEIR COATS.

I am so with your comment Kathy Javens -- No other words need to be said!

A successful reintroduction of a most beautiful cat into Colorado. Now that the numbers of the lynx are at a sustainable level I hope that we will not see the 'hunting fraternity' permitted to enter the habitat of the lynx to 'harvest' this magnificent animal. Already we have seen this happening with wolves in some of the States which in my opinion is a cruel and tragic situation.

We adopted me a Lynx and also a (rare) amur leopard for Christmas. For my birthday I got a lion and a tiger. The family album is now full of all sorts of 'relatives' from all over the world, including an arctic fox, a snowy owl, a sea otter, a polar bear, a cheetah, and 7 snow leopards.
I'm hoping for another lynx for Valentine's day, or maybe another cougar. The World Wildlife Fund and several other conservation organizations work pretty hard to protect habitat and prevent poaching, plus they work to educate local people about the critical importance of these endangered animals.
I hope we soon have more cheetahs, more tigers, more leopards, and more lynx too.
Thanks Cher!
