On 22 January, WSPA led an undercover operation in Orissa, India with its local member society, Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) and the local police to save two sloth bear cubs from a cruel life of bear 'dancing'. Sloth bears are listed as 'vulnerable' by

adorable. Good thing thy won't have to life their lifes out as exploited dancing bears
Good to see that the trend is declining, i think people are starting to see that "tradition" and "entertainment" isn't fun anymore as soon as suffering animals are involved

Thanks for the news and glad to hear that bear dancing is declining. I feel terrible for these bear cubs' mom. I hope for the day that all these abuses gonna be stopped forever.

It is great to hear that the sordid practice of bear dancing is almost over due to the diligence and persistence of organizations like WSPA. Bears should never have to live under those conditions being exploited for human entertainment. One of the biggest ways to stop this practice forever is to continue to educate people. Thanks for posting.
