Word earlier this month that the eastern cougar has been declared extinct by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service leaves just one native panther species alive in the East -- the Florida panther that resides in Big Cypress National Preserve and Everglades

Jesus Christ, WHAT IS IT AGAIN, GOING TO 4 PEOPLE 2 REALIZE WHATS GOING ON IN THE WORLD?! Look what just happened on Japan (my prayers r sent 2 them!) & people dont seem to grasp that $$ & material things r NOTHING, WE R NOTHING against these tragedies that could wipe us in a sec but men r still GREEDY, SELFISH, CRUEL & FRIVOLOUS. WHEN R U GOING TO REALIZE THAT WHEN U DIE, U TAKE NOTHING, NOTHING! STOP DESTROYING OUR PLANET & RIDDING US FROM OUR ANIMALS. IF U CONTINUE WITH THIS NONSENSE, OUR PLANET'S GONNA LOOK LIKE JAPAN: DESTROYED, BARREN, CHAOTIC & DEPRESSING! PLEASE, CONSIDER THEM BOTH- PLANET & ANIMALS!!

This is so sad. I really hope we can organize some kind of breeding program here in florida just help add more to the world...It'sjust a shame that humans are the reason this is happening.
