Unlike the false beliefs of Peta, Creationists and Dominion Christians, lies NEVER serve the truth. You would think that all of those fear-mongering liars would have learned that lesson from the Nazis regime, who always lied to make them seem as if they are something that they are not.

You cannot fight facts with lies. Lies always lose when challenged by facts.

These ads are badly done true but I do believe that it's time to tie in the other illnesses and severe health problems that come with HIV in spite of the medications available. It's a *fact* that young people as a group have become more complacent about HIV due to the meds; the exception proves the rule - responsible youth are to be commended and many are doing outreach to help fight the denial. But there are so many myths out there re: HIV 'just not being a problem anymore.' This is deadly - with the heinous health-related cutbacks throughout the nation things are getting WORSE & WORSE - just the opposite of 'not being a problem anymore.' We *do* need stark ads in my opinion - I'm a longterm-out bisexual elder/woman; I've worked in the field of HIV/AIDS prevention; I'm trying to state the obvious here.

It has good design layout a hard hitting message and it is a fact that HIV weakens your immune system and leave you open to pretty much every disease. It clearly says if you use a condom you are less likely to catch it.

And most importantly of all that are advocating the use of condoms! So sorry but I won't sign as it educates more then stigmatizes.

No one deserves this disease.

Thank god, it wasn't around, when I was young.
Sometimes, TIMING is everything.

Signed. I have no idea WHY the people respnsible for these type of scare campaigns have not done their research on what impact they actually have on the public. Half the time people don't go for an Aids test, or a cnacer test is FEAR..Negative and fearful campaings like this, back-fire for his reason. They can, in fact cause even more suffering. If only they would flip the coin and put out a positive message, so that people would not feel stigmatised and fearful, there would be far more people actaully being tested becuse they do not dread the results so badly, this way, the fear may mean that they go undiagnosed for far longer, by which time it may be too late to stop them spereading the disease to othres. Psychologically people are always far more likely to be motivated by something POSITIVE than the NEGTIVE. This is not me just talking 'hot air' I have seen the results of this type of adverising over the years. even in my limitied range of experience, so what negative impact it has world-wide, is quite frightening!
