Every winter, dogs and cats struggle to survive long lonely days and nights outside in the freezing cold and rain. Many freeze to death or suffer from exposure, frostbite, or hypothermia because of a lack of even the most basic shelter or care.

Easiest thing I've done all day! Even though I'm pet-less I always remind my pet families to please take care of their pets during the winter months by bringing them inside. We hear so many tragic stories about pets every winter...let's do all we can to make this a safe, happy, warm, winter for all our pets. Thnx Cher!

Gladly pledged! Each year so many animals are left in this horrific situation. We must all do what we can by helping organizations who try to supply adequate dog houses to dogs who are kept outdoors all the time and, tragically, would perish without their help and intervention! It is so sad that so many animals end up in situations with such heartless people. It is great that PETA has a program to provide well insulated dog houses to dogs who are in such need and most would die without them!

Done, thanks. The weathermen on several tv stations warn people to bring in their pets....but if they don't know to do this, should they have pets in the first place???
