Read this touching tale, told by a veterinarian, about an amazing display of motherly love that proves animals love and feel.

Wow, what a sweet, sad, story. As one who farmed a few years, I know animals think and feel and love. I was one who spoiled them all rotten. lol. They would follow me anywhere, and always came from the pasture when I went to get them to take them to the barn when a storm was coming. I would walk along singing a song, and they would line up single-file and follow me all the way into the barn so I could close them in to keep them safe during the storm. I would also give the sows a hug when I went to feed them, they would have their heads up there for their hug. Animals can teach people a lot about love.

What a story. Like Barbara, we can learn so much from our animals. Mam felt sadness and pain from losing her babies!! They know what's going on!!!! Thanks, Cher for this story.

This mama cow is not just loving but clever also. My hybred wolf was
spaded at a young age but she wanted to be a mama too. So strongly were
her motherly instincts that she mothered our cat's kittens. She would inspect each one as they came through the door from outside. Smelling, sniffing them and if they were injured she would hold them down and lick their wounds, much to the dismay of the kittens. For her Loving ways and veterinary exams she was granted the title "Mom/Dr.Sasha". The sweetest pet I ever had.
Thank you Cher ~

OMG......this is heart braking, so very sad. I just don't get it. How could that farmer have been so heartless??????????? I do not eat meat but I stopped eating veal long belong I stopped meat altogether. I was just a child when I found out what veal really was and then I wondered what kind of person could eat that and do that to animals. This story is so upsetting.

How is it that not everyone sees the decision that that cow made. Why is it that we decide that just because their animals they have no feeling and they will get over it. Apparently she didn't. I feel her pain.

I wish I hadn't read even part of this story.

I must learn to refuse to allow such into my mind.

I can fight the abuse without becoming a victim of it.

I just don't understand how people turn away from this information and continue using dairy products. I would love to see this story aired on a nation wide commercial to protest animal cruelty.

I've no interest in knowing people I've come across who don't believe or had the experience of knowing that all animals are capable of loving, whether it's their offspring or the humans they become attached to

That's the problem. Animals have developed emotions. They don't forget abuse.
They are willing to serve people and be loyal to them and in return for all their
kindness they get to live in HELL! You tell me one description of hell that doesn't fit the world of abusedf animals.

They are intelligent, emotional and have every qualification for the souls of saints.

Yet here they are living in hell.

Clearly animals are capable of love and tenderness what a shame that we don't always show the same emotions toward them.

This is something I have always innately knew about animals. That they are living, breathing, thinking, feeling beings. That they are utterly amazing & deserve our compassion & respect. Thanks or sharing this one Cher, warms the heart. Albeit bitter-sweet!

Who refuses to acknowledge that all beings think, feel, love and need love?
The entire Life Force is one ... all sentient beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.

My speech professor was wrong, Animals do not need treats or rewards to "learn Love" . When God created them He was in them too. He is a part of all creation. I bet He cried too. I hope they sell her to someone who will let her have a calf. Dail

Animals have souls. I do not care what any 'religion' says. If there are no animals in so-called 'Heaven'....I know I don't want to go there. Rather be in so-called 'Hell' with all the animals than in a Heaven with only people. They have souls, they feel, they think, they reason and they do one ting better than any person...they all love unconditionally.
