A great idea and a principle that I have followed in the past. Sadly this year where I live in England we are suffering a drought and so I will be keeping my planting down to the bear minimum.

my mom has always grown marigold next to tomatoes. i'm going to tell her about the borage and i may even plant some since they attract bees.
