The following message is sent to the Indonesian Embassy in Berlin and the consulates in Frankfurt and Hamburg
Dear Mr. Ambassador, Sir Consul,
with great dismay I found out that Indonesia's government still approved the capture and export of primates for animal testing.
The official says Indonesia, the export of wild primates has long been prohibited. According to export documents in addition to the animals come from breeding farms alleged, but there are serious doubts about the credibility of Indonesian breeding farms for primates and other species. In spite of that new footage, as hundreds of wild cynomolgus monkeys snatched from the wild in Java and then brutally sacks and crates are connected. Buyers of the animals are companies who supply the international laboratory animal industry.
Cynomolgus monkeys are accredited by the Endangered Species Convention (CITES) protected. According to CITES exports are permitted only if the trade is not detrimental to survival of the species. In addition, Indonesia's government must prevent the animals are treated cruelly. "Breeding farms" according to CITES must meet strict criteria. All of these requirements is not just Indonesia: Instead, wild monkeys on Indonesian islands captured and brutally simply grown as issued. To meet the growing demand of the laboratory animal industry, Indonesia approved in the last 10 years, the export of at least 33 000 cynomolgus monkeys, although there is no scientific stock numbers and local stocks will be down.
I therefore strongly urge you to stop the capture, export, and abuse of primates for laboratories around the world immediately.

Animal testing is a cruel and useless process. Human bodies are very different from animal bodies.
It only provides paychecks for sexual perverts who get off on it.

No animals should be tested on. Vivisection is faulty science, animal abuse and neglect. Vivisectors should be in jail for their crimes against animals.

Signed & Noted! So sad that because stupid people believe we came from apes that the first and formost use of animals tested are and have been all those species from the monkey family. Simply because they foolishly believe that a relation to them means that we are the same so their testing leads them to believe we have similarities to justify testing on them. This is total BS! The only thing we have in common with any animal is that they have hearts and feelings just as we do. BUT, they are not biologically designed as we are. Therefore, testing on any animal is moot and thoroughly uncalled for. Not to mention completely cruel and inhumane!
