Recycling paper is one of the best ways to save the trees and protecting the environment. Nearly 80% of the paper we use can be recycled.

a fraction of this is re-used, and none of it is truly re-cycled but down-spiralled at best

more than enough consumerit/idiot/s buying not even recycled toilet paper, but rather usually chlorine-bleaches stuff made from freshly slaughtered trees

or, e.g. do you see a lot of (news)papers printed on recycled paper ?

oh, and btw:most "chlorine-free bleached paper" is, actually only "bleached without use of *elementary* Cholrine (ie. Cl2" and bleached using chlorine compounds

oh, and btw: you ARE familiar with the diference between post-consumer-recycled and mere "recycled" paper ? (i'd hope)

I actually recycle my own paper. Paper that I would normally send to the recycling center, I now reduce to pulp and make clean, new sheets of paper out of it, sometimes adding fresh flowers, herbs or grass to pretty it up and send it as a greeting card.

I have been told by our township's recycler, that wet newspaper cannot be recycled. I have never read or heard of the contrary. I know that pizza boxes, stained with cheese/sauce are also non recyclable.
