This kind of behaviour defies believe doesn't it? This is just another fine example of what the human race has come to. Starvation, one the the most cruel and painful forms of death and hereby nearly executed by someone who is supposed to uphold the law and prevent this sort of criminality from happening.

I always thought every human soul has a conscience but my faith in that is rapidly diminishing noting this and a host of recent happenings elswhere.

I am not a Gingrich fan by any means but must admit his statement on CNN recently that the eye for an eye treatment is truly necessary to curb violence, cruelty and what not. Swift and determined action is called for, no lenghty debates, lawyers etc. etc. When proven guilty: Adios!!

how can you be a deputy vet when you are not even protecting the horses, how pathetic this person is, revoked his licence really, this is horrific act of animal cruelty, some people think just because you have a degree in whatever you studies you sure take to heart and stand for what supposedly
studied well not all the time, here it proves this idiot should be in jail and never be close to another animal for the rest of his life.bastard.

I hope she will not get away with this horrible crime and that she is sent to prison, where she WILL be taken care of by the other inmates. They love cops. If she didn't want them or could not feed them, she could have given them to someone that could. This is just HORRIBLE. It breaks my heart to see this poor horse lying there with every rib in it's body sticking out. And I'm sure that it is too weak to even get up. There is NO reason to torture an animal like this. Harder prison sentence more name and shame, will help keep this type of thing from happening, we will never ever be rid of cruel humans, but at least we can get them to fear for themselves and/or behind bars, as it is there is nothing to stop them, decent humans who take the law into their own hands are looked upon as being worse then the abuser in the eye of the law, this stripping any kind of protection other humans can offer animals.

It used to be that police officers were role models for the community, this piece of guttersnipe is a great role model for Sing Sing! I have never seen such a truly heart breaking photo of a beautiful horse so destroyed by the actions of this person! May the judge throw the book at her and use her as a poster for animal cruelty.

Signed. Yes, it's bad enough when somebody who may just be ignorant of how to properly care for an animal and ends up neglecting them or starvng them thru "ignorance" and somebody who definitely should know better!

I felt the same way about the person who owned the dog that Tammie Grimes (founder of DOGS DESERVE BETTER) rescued and then charged HER with theft of his dog and she ended up in jail and he got his starving, neglected dog BACK! He was a cop!
