Better yet, demand that grocery stores switch to biodegradable bags... they are available, why won't our stores use them???? Every time you shop, ask why biodegradable isn't being used. Noted and signed, thanks.

My city, Seattle, WA, just recently banned plastic bags and I am so glad! (although you can still get paper bags, and you can get really nice, thick plastic bags for a nickel.) So, not perfect -- but better, anyway.
