noted i think its sad the puppy was dumped but before i rant i must consider that the puppy was dumped a vets surgical center, perhaps the owners couldnt afford vet care and just wanted to make sure the pup got it! Dont get me wrong im NOT saying its ok to ever dump a puppy im only saying they couldve dumped the pup anywhere but choses a surgical vets office. Thanks Dianne

when did people start thinking their pets were disposable?
like marriage;for better or worse
they should make it mandatory to have a contract and stick to it,under penalty of fines and imprisonment based on the abuse...........COWARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noted. I am so sick of these stories of poor animals being abused, dumped, etc. What kind of monsters do we have running around? Florence has a point-as it's a possibility, but so does Siuoxz. Most vets will work with you. If not, they don't deserve a license.

Thank God Don was dumped outside a vet's office. Like Florence said, the ''owner'' could've dumped Don anywhere. It's almost like dumping a baby on the porch of a home with lots lots of children inside; the ''dumper'' consiiders the animal/baby will have a better chance at a ''normal life'' by dumping them. My BIGGEST PET PEEVE IS: NEVER ADOPT UNTIL YOU ARE ABLE TO TAKE CARE OF THE DOG/CAT. Thnx for posting Cher.

The young man in the purple t-shirt may not have been the owner and at least he put the puppy where he thought it would be found and cared for.
One scenario is he knows who broke the pup's hip, and doesn't want to face their anger if they found out he saved it and took it to a vet centre.
He could have just turned his back, but he didn't, so we know he has a heart even if he's afraid to show it.

It is so heartless to dump an animal. When you get a pet it is a responsibility to care for them.

This story could have had a far more terrible ending. How the hip was broken, we will never know. Was this man guilty, or being a decent person?

Noted. While it saddens me to hear of another animal being dumped at least this guy took the puppy to a vet. Still, when you get a pet it is a lifelong commitment ~ we would have a much better world for our companion animals if more people remembered that. So many things could've happened to that puppy in the car park and he was in pain for all that time he was waiting to be found ~ such a shame.

Son is a little cutie pie. I hope he mends well & finds a forever home.
Please let's go nuts about the purple shirt guy. Who knows if he found the injured puppy on the way to work or rescued it from some dirtballs or his family told him to get rid of the puppy. We don't know who injured little Don.

The only positive thing I can say here is that at least it was not on the side of the road or a dumpster

I hope they find the person who dumped the puppy. The best thing is that the puppy will have a better life in the future.

We do not know if the guy in the purple t-shirt was Dons human or just a human that found this poor puppy "BUT" he did the right thing by taking the puppy to a vet office knowing it would get care an if this human was Dons companion I can under stand why he did it just think put yourself in his shoes you take a puppy or kitten with a broken hip to SPCA an the first thing they will think is that you abused the puppy or kitten you are guilty they will asks for your name address an then turn this over to the cops now for the cost a broken hip that sounds like $1.500 dollars or more an before you all start flying off the handle an saying if you don't have the money you should not have a companion animal this can also be said for children if you don't have the money you should not have children I have said this before "MEDICAL CARE FOR HUMANS AN NON HUMANS SHOULD BE FREE A PUBLIC SERVICE" not a money maker if this was true I would not be writing this post. =^..^=

Word for word I agree with Florence somehow they have a heart
At least he will get attention now
There are some blue cross free vets but private ones are so very very expensive in the UK

Read & sadly noted, thanks Cher. I guess this could be looked at from both sides, yes it's sad that the puppy somehow managed to get a broken hip, & that someone just "dumped" him & left. On the other hand, the puppy was left at the best possible place for appropriate care, considering the alternatives. Hopefully the puppy's injury was, indeed, accidental, & that the person who left him there had the pup's best interests in mind. As cute as the puppy is, I'm very hopeful it will find a true, loving, forever home very soon!

Thanks Cher.....what a beautiful little puppy. This breaks my heart to know that it was in so much pain. But, thanks to the people at the vets office, he got the help that he needed. I hope Don finds a forever home, he deserves to be loved and cared!!

At least he was dumped where a vet could get to him. I once adopted a kitten who was left in a box at a vet's clinic in Queens. I guess SOME credit should be given to one who would at least do their dumping where an animal can get medical help and shelter. The other kind of "dumpers" can rot in hell.

I hope a security camera caught the idiot who did this. Glad the pup is being taken care of. This is one good reason why we need to control the pet over population and screen those allowed to have pets.
